How to Use ANTICORR® Epoxy Mortar / Cement

Surface Preparation

Prepare the cement-plastered surface to be:

  • Slightly rough, clean, and dry
  • Free from dust, dirt, grease, or oil
  • Properly leveled with the required slope, as adjustments cannot be made during acid-proof lining
Mortar / Cement Preparation

Mixing Ratio:

  • Epoxy Resin: 100 parts by weight (pbw)
  • Epoxy Hardener: 10–15 pbw
  • Quartz Powder: 300–350 pbw
  • Adjust slightly based on temperature and conditions

Steps:

  • Combine Epoxy Resin and Hardener in a mixing pan and stir thoroughly
  • Gradually add Quartz Powder, mixing with a trowel or spatula until uniform
  • Prepare small batches to ensure usability before setting
  • Use all Mortar / Cement from the pan before mixing a new batch

Discard any material that begins to set; do not re-temper

Application Process
  • Apply Mortar / Cement to the back and sides of bricks or tiles, using a trowel to butter surfaces
  • Lay tiles or bricks, squeezing out excess Mortar / Cement to form tight joints
  • For joint filling, ensure full depth is filled without air pockets
  • Keep the area dry and free from traffic or materials during setting and curing
Cleaning
  • Clean tools, equipment, and hands with soap and water before the Mortar / Cement sets
  • Use appropriate cleaners for cured material
Curing
  • Initial Set: 4–5 hours at 30°C
  • Final Set: 24–48 hours at 30°C
  • Full Cure: 7 days at 30°C
  • Use appropriate cleaners for cured material

Prevent water exposure during curing to ensure optimal results
